Basic:
  • Tai no Henko-1
  • Tai no Henko-2

Technique:

  • Shomen Uchi Ikkajo Osae-1
  • Katate Mochi Nikajo Osae-2
  • Nikajo Practice

Note:

Class of 3.

Stumpy let us teach Jimmy the techniques! Knowing John is very good , on the other hand...I'm not. While I was taking John's Uke for explaining Ikkajo with all the details, my mind was saying, "this isnt gonna happen from me!" Yet, I was not as bad as I thought I would do ; )

Points for me to work on:

Tai no Henko-1: To make 90 degrees with front and back feet, I also find its the comfortable position to stay strong.

Tai no Henko-2: To go lower with front knee, to push both feet against the mat using the back of thigh...it makes less painful with knees while in the position, yet my thighs are sore already only 2 hrs later.

Ikkajo: I end up kneeling too wide to start Ikkajo Osae part, it can get more solid and stable with body balance AND make the whole thing better...

Nikajo: I losen my Nikajo when I do it even I have it when I come to the position. ( at least, thats what I'm told) The advise from Stumpy is that to bring Nikajo shape towards me even I am not supposed to do just to keep the Nikajo shape.
