Technique:
Jiyuwaza Practice starts from Katate Mochi
  • Ikkajo Nage
  • Kokyu Nage (Step in, Left Pivot, Step out to left, then throw)
  • Hijiate Kokyu Nage
  • Shomen Iriminage
  • Kokyu Nage (Right forward Kamae, Shift back, Palm Up and Throw towards back)
  • Shiho Nage Kuzushi
  • Yonkajo Nage
Note:
Class of 3, NO SUGAR. 4 of us (with Stumpy) kept going on the Jiyuwaza Practice. How come its so hard to take Sensei's Uke? I was going out of breath after doing Sensei's uke for the whole time.

Although I intended to make my balance steady and strong, felt doing it weakly instead. Watching Honey and David's quite solid movement, I was "thinking", maybe I dont "think" enough. If I cant get the feeling of something to click with my move, I just dont get anything...Well, thats why I keep training as MUCH as possible for my body to learn where and how to move. I think this way fits me better : )

Yonkajo Nage was very cool. It doesnt look big, going forward doing Nage, making the twist the arm toward outside which makes quite strong TWIST for Uke to resist.

I tried to fly higher doing flips today, also tried to flip straight ahead as much as possible after seeing some not so tall people flipping high Sunday at Hombu. I am short, I need space to fly when I flip out of anything. Try not to go down, go up, then I will have more time. : )
